Eskenazi School Recognition Ceremony

Location: IU Auditorium, 1211 E. Seventh St.

Date: Friday, May 8, 2026

Time: 9:00 am. Doors open at 8:00 am. Graduates must check in between 8:00 and 8:45 am. 

Attire: Cap and/or gown are optional.

The Eskenazi School of Art, Architecture + Design hosts an invitation-only ceremony recognizing students completing an undergraduate or graduate degree in May or August 2026. Dean Peg Faimon and a student speaker will address the graduates and each graduating student will be recognized on stage for their accomplishment.

Graduating students have been emailed instructions and a link for reserving up to eight (8) tickets for their guests by Friday, April 17.

After April 20, the remaining tickets will be made available to those who would like to reserve more than eight.

Indiana Memorial Union

Indiana Memorial Union (IMU) visitors may park in either of the IMU pay lots adjacent to the building. Both lots are open from 7am to midnight, seven days a week.

• IMU pay lot #1 is located along the east side of the building, just south of Seventh Street. The entrance is at the intersection of Seventh Street and Forrest Avenue.
• IMU pay lot #2 is located on the north side of the building, directly across Seventh Street. The entrance is on Eighth Street between Woodlawn Avenue and Forrest Avenue.

Metered parking

Parking Operations offers parking kiosks for multi-space metered parking and virtual meters at some locations, including all disabled metered parking spaces.      

All campus meters are enforced Monday–Friday, from 7am–10pm.

Metered parking situated close to the campus on city streets are part of the City of Bloomington parking system and have rates and hours of enforcement that differ from IU.
