Lisa Taliano is an New York City-based artist whose paintings are an investigation into the ecological condition that recognizes bodies and places as continuous. In the paintings that comprise “Material Entanglements,” Taliano explores the porous nature of bodies and the wider environment through the tension between abstraction and representation.
